In just two months, Worthy Farm will be transformed into a festival venue with the return of Glastonbury this summer.
While the majority of tickets sold out in November, music fans had another chance to secure a spot at this year’s event with a “very limited number” of tickets on sale this week.
The first batch of resale tickets, which included the coach journey, sold out on Thursday (April 20). The second and final tranche of resale tickets, excluding journeys, were available for purchase at 9am today (Sunday 23rd April).
However, it took less than six minutes for all tickets to sell out, leaving many disappointed music fans voicing their grievances with the ticketing system on social media.
Now in its 51st year, Glastonbury 2023 will take place in Somerset between Wednesday and Sunday, 21-25 June.
Arctic Monkeys, Elton John and Guns N’ Roses are among the artists confirmed by co-organiser Emily Eavis, who also addressed the controversy surrounding male headliners.
