Police divers returned to the stretch of river where Nicola Bulley, mother of two, disappeared.
The 45-year-old’s body was pulled from the River Wye in Lancashire in February but a number of questions remained unanswered.
A team of divers were seen in the water not far from a weir and downstream from a bench where police believe Mrs Bulley entered the water at St Michael’s on Wyre on 27 January.
Police divers were spotted in the River Wyre on April 4 and a short clip was uploaded to YouTube. Lancashire Police said in a statement: “We can confirm that we are carrying out work under the direction of Her Majesty’s Coroner.”
Mrs Bulley went missing while walking her dog after dropping off her daughters, aged six and nine, at school, sparking a huge search operation and intense media and public interest.
His body was found in the river 23 days after his disappearance, about a mile further downstream from the dugout on February 19.
An inquest into Mrs Bulley’s death will be held on 26 June.
